We booked for 3 nights & ended up staying 6. Only the ferry home stopped us staying longer! The site itself is well looked after & offers a range of sunny or sheltered spots. We found the owner helpful & easy to talk to. We appreciated that he spoke English very well. Facilities were always spotless when we used them- it helps when people leave them as they would like to find them! Campsite de Meirdoon is a 10 minute walk from the centre of Sluis, a lively little town with pleasant bars, shops & a fantastic fish restaurant above the fish market. The Belfry museum is worth a visit. It's also possible to visite Brugges by local bus but you need the TRANZ app to pay your fare which is relatively easy to use. All in all, a lovely site we hope to return too.
