Camping Esonstad is in the north of the Netherlands, right on the bank of the Lauwersmeer. This family campsite has lots for the entire family to do. The entertainment team organises fun activities and there are plenty of amenities that campsite visitors may use. There is a pitch & putt golf course, a bowling alley, an indoor playground and a heated indoor swimming pool. A quick bite to eat can be enjoyed at the snack bar and an extensive dinner can be had at the brasserie. In short, you don’t have to leave the campsite at all!

Campsite with many amenities

Camping Esonstad has several camping fields separated from one another by trees. You camp on spacious open grounds and all of the pitches are grassy. Holidaymakers who would prefer to rent an accommodation can stay in one of the luxury holiday homes on the other side of the road. As a campsite visitor at Camping Esonstad, you can use all amenities at the holiday park, such as the swimming pool and the indoor playground.

Pitch & Putt and an indoor playground

Lot of entertainment is provided for children especially. The entertainment team organises fun and creative activities. The covered swimming pool with its large slide is open daily and will provide hours of water fun. In the summer, you can swim in the Lauwersmeer and relax on the beach. There is also plenty for sports enthusiasts to do at the campsite. Play volleyball, table tennis, a game of jeu de boules or challenge family members on the Pitch & Putt golf course, which is right next to the camping site. There is also an indoor playground with trampolines, climbing frames and slides.

Ich war mit dem Wohnwagen auf dem Platz während es mehere Tage regnete. Der Platz wurde immer tiefer und fast alle wohnwagen und manche Pkw mussten heraus gezogen werden. Vor dem Wohnwagen sammelte sich das Wasser und stieg bis zu 10 cm hoch.

Nach einigen Tagen sind wir auf den Campingplatz Lauwersoog umgezogen. Hier war alles trocken obwohl der nur wenige kilometer entfernt liegt und die gleichen regenmengen abbekommen hat.
