The Hoeve De Schaaf campsite is located in the Limburg village of Heijen near Gennep and Boxmeer. You are not far from the German border – nice for a trip to our neighbours to the East! Because the campsite is located on the edge of the De Maasduinen National Park, you can be in the middle of nature in just a few steps.

Pitch with private sanitary facilities

The Hoeve De Schaaf campsite has annual pitches, seasonal pitches, and tourist pitches. In the tourist section, no fewer than 12 pitches are equipped with private sanitary facilities. You can also hang a hammock at various places. If you don’t have one, you can rent one at the reception. The pitches are well demarcated out and vary in size. The pitches at the edge of the forest are quite spacious.

Slide and splash

This is a family campsite – this is reflected in the visitors. In the high season, mainly young Dutch and German families spend on or several nights here. The off-season tends to attracts seniors. The pool is fun for everyone – young and old alike. This outdoor pool is located in the sun and features a long slide. The entertainment team provides fun activities for children in summer.

Enjoy a cool beverage in the sun

The restaurant at Hoeve De Schaaf campsite has a small menu. Pull up a chair for a tasty meal, or take a seat on the terrace for a cocktail in the sun! There is no supermarket at the campsite. However, there are supermarkets in the nearby Boxmeer and Gennep. The plumbing is well maintained and clean. Dogs are also welcome at the campsite. However, they must be kept on a lead.

It is a very pleasant site with large, level grass based, firm pitches each with its individual water and electricity supply, the English speaking staff were helpful and welcoming, whilst the food in the restaurant was very tasty[we had pizza].
