The well maintained and complete campsite De Boshoek lies on the edge of the Veluwe, more or less between Amersfoort and Apeldoorn. You can enjoy the surrounding nature and calm atmosphere here with the entire family. Yet there is more than enough to do! For instance, swimming in the (covered) swimming paradise, tennis, soccer and basketball. There is also a wellness centre.
Recreatiepark De Boshoek also has a beautiful campsite on the Veluwe, in Voorthuizen. A good location, because on the Veluwe is much to do and you can expect much more besides cycling and walking. Think of countless attractions and sights; After Florida, the Veluwe has the largest density of theme parks in the world.<br>The campsite has been rated 5-star at the ANWB for years. All facilities are available and the camping pitches are fully equipped.

Wake up in a box bed and step outside in to the garden. You enjoy every moment that you spend the night in these special houses. Of course, the cottage is equipped with all the comforts you could wish for and the house has its own kitchen. The cottage has no private sanitary facilities but you can use the adjacent luxury toilet block.

De eerste slaapkamer is voorzien van een 2-persoonsbed en een ruime inbouwkast, in de andere slaapkamer vind je een mezzaninebed waarbij het hoge bed met een trappetje bereikbaar is. Helemaal handig: vanuit beide slaapkamers is de badkamer met douche en wastafel bereikbaar. Het toilet vind je in een aparte ruimte.

In augustus zijn wij met ons gezin (twee zoons van 5 en 8 jaar) voor een lang weekend naar Camping De Boshoek geweest met onze nieuwe caravan. We hadden een kampeerplaats met privésanitair, wat ons goed beviel, al was het privésanitair zelf niet helemaal schoon. De camping en het sanitairgebouw waren daarentegen erg netjes netjes en goed onderhouden. Privé sanitair zou daarom een volgende keer niet nodig zijn. De camping biedt veel leuke activiteiten voor kinderen, zoals speeltoestellen, een verwarmd zwembad, Formule 1-achtige activiteiten en avondentertainment. De bediening in het restaurant vonden we wat matig, maar de omgeving is prachtig om te fietsen. Onze kampeerplek lag in een rondje met een speeltoestel in het midden, wat veel ruimte gaf en erg leuk was voor de kinderen. Wel was er een weg in de buurt, waardoor we ’s nachts en vroeg in de ochtend behoorlijk verkeer hoorden. Ondanks dat hebben we een heel fijn verblijf gehad en zouden we zeker nog eens terugkomen naar Camping De Boshoek.
