Camping De Kasteelse Bossen

The water was turned off to avoid freezing, apart from one tap inside the heated facilities (the Ladies, used for both genders). As no hosepipe connection was possible, we had to carry water over to the motorhome a bowl at a time. The electricity was metered and the supposedly 6-amp electricity supply (1.5 kW) was tripped twice by our low wattage kettle, so we asked to change to 10-amps and were charged an extra amount each night for the electricity we used above 4 kWh. There was no way of checking this inflated price, paid on leaving. The restaurant was closed but free WiFi worked once we had the password (given to us on our second day when the owner came round). The site wasn't really suitable for a winter stay.

Really nice camping. Very well maintained, and a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Geweldige mooi gelegen camping, met super mooie grote plekken en prachtig sanitair. Altijd heel vriendelijk ontvangen door Martin en Bea. Ook voor een heerlijk hapje en drankje ben je altijd zeer welkom. Wij als 50+ komen zeker terug.
