A gem of a five-star campsite, and one that lives up to its stars. At Camp MondSeeLand in the Austrian Mondsee, everything is meticulously organised. The owners are very hospitable and you will stay on spacious pitches (grass). The (semi)covered swimming pool is very attractive. You find all this in a beautiful green, quiet area with trees and gently sloping meadows.

I’ll start the review by saying that if you have kids - this place is absolutely 5* with fantastic facilities, pools, play parks, sports facilities - endless entertainment. However, we were a young couple without children looking for a quiet night near the lakes and were put on a pitch in the children’s play park and were woken up several times by crying kids in the night. One big advantage is the restaurant on site which is absolutely great - brilliant food and the loveliest staff. The facilities are very clean and plentiful - loads of washing facilities and dryers. The area is a 5-8 min drive from Mondsee but it’s in a lovely quiet area with plenty of space to walk about.
