This campsite has been updated since the earlier reviews and can’t be faulted. The amenities are fantastic, all new and spotlessly clean. The pitches are all clean gravel. Some terraced pitches are difficult to access and too small for larger outfits but there are very large premium pitches with own water and waste. Some of the access roads can cause caravans to ground but staff will advise of best ways round to avoid problems. Easy to access from the motorway, close to amazing seaside resort of Sao Martinho with its many restaurants and incredible network of boardwalks along the shoreline and across a river into the next town. Here the contour of the coast forms an inland lagoon with safe bathing and beautiful sandy beach. Only 6 miles from Nazare which was our reason for coming here but much more to see and do in the area.
