Camping Pelinos-Tomar

Myself and my partner travel by motorcycle and tent, and we've been to a lot of campsites. This is our favourite we've been to and other campsites should take note. Beautiful setting, full of character, well priced, spacious, clean and most of all the staff (I believe a family) are genuinely lovely people and know customer service. Highly recommend.

Fijne camping waar ieder een plaatsje krijgt zonder hinderlijk te zijn voor anderen. Een camping zoals een camping zou moeten zijn. Schoon sanitair, 's morgens broodje, klein restaurant met op korte afstand meerdere. Behulpzame eigenaars/familie. Prachtige omgeving met uitdagende uitstapjes op korte afstand, wandelen kastelen, kloosters (Convento do Cristo moet je gezien hebben). Een camping om bij terug te komen.

My partner and I camped here overnight in June. We called in advance as requested on the website, since we were only staying for 1 night. The website itself is very thorough with all possible requests catered for. Esther (one of the owners) greeted and walked us through area and we chose where we would like to pitch. The site has a very cosy and homely feeling, with very clean bathroom/showers and a bar. There is a clean water faucet at the entrance of the camping too. We were given a folder of information about activities in the area (in English), which was a nice touch. I would 100% come here again and recommend to anyone. Thank you for a lovely time :)
