Istas Garden Camping

This is a lovely small family run campsite, the owners live on site and can’t do enough for you even providing a wine tasting one evening. Good sized level pitches with very modern clean facilities, nice pool, communal kitchen and social area plus free laundry use. Also excellent for visiting the beautiful city of Porto.

Very Professional operation. The entire staff were on a safety and security training during my stay. The site is fully secure and it’s spotless. I attended 2 wine tastings; one was for Port and one for Wine. Pedro sourced boxed cases of wine for me. The staff are really lovely. I’m definitely returning, not least because I met such f friendly locals (Ricardo and Carlos) in the local bar and we are all going to dinner next time.Pool. was an added bonus

4 day stay in February. A gem of a site, the attention to detail is first class, the owners are campers and it shows. They are so helpful. The place is beautifully equipped and spotlessly clean. The Wine tasting is a must! Probably the best site we have ever been on. We will be back.

The friendly hosts know from experience what makes a great campsite and they offer it here at Istas garden. Strongly recommend this site as a base for exploring Porto, for a relaxing stay (the pool is fab) and for wine tourism. This is an excellent family run site for only 10/11 motorhomes. There is everything you could possibly want - coffee machine - free washing machine - BBQ area - free washing racks. Twice a week Pedro the owner lays on wine tastings with his wife Claudia who speaks excellent English. The pool is small and indoor and a great place to cool down after a day in Porto. There is an easy 35 minute cycle ride into Porto along a cycle track. There is an excellent café and cake shop 5 minutes away and a good supermarket nearby. we highly recommend Istas Garden.
