This a large campsite, immaculately kept apart from the actual pitches, which are grass and sand but no grass cutting, we are in area B, other pitches around the site are a mix of hard standing or sand. easy access for any sized motorhome. Restaurant open on an evening and lunch and evening at weekends, very high class so a tad expensive for a camp site. There is a mini-mart but we didn’t use it. Ablution block is immaculately clean and massive. The small town is ten minutes walk away, has some small restaurants and has little beaches in coves, all require descending and ascending many steps. Good campsite, good facilities. it is a yellow village site

Na de vele lovende reviews waren de verwachtingen hoog gespannen. Toch niet helemaal waar gemaakt. De camping ziet er mooi uit, is prima gelegen, op loopafstand van het centrum van Porto Covo en de mooie strandjes. Het zwembad is mooi. Het sanitair en de afwasruimten zijn vrij nieuw. Alleen heel spijtig dat het niet goed schoongehouden wordt. Het personeel is drukker met elkaar bezig dan zijn werk te doen, lijkt het. Rommel in afwasbakken lag er na een paar dagen nog. Zelfde in de toiletten. Winkeltijden klopten ook niet, te laat open, te vroeg dicht. En honden liepen los rond, beter om ze aangelijnd te houden net als in andere campings normaal is. Jammer dit, het zou een fantastische camping kunnen zijn...

Wir waren im Juni 2022 dort, der Ort ist sehenswert, der Strand Praia Grande ist wunderschön und man kann herrlich oben über den Klippen einen weiten Spaziergang machen. Am Platz konnte man nur Kleinigkeiten kaufen, eigentlich schade. Die Sanitäranlagen waren sauber und ausreichend vorhanden. Das Restaurant hatte leider geschlossen.

disappointed as the pitches in the photos are very few and need to be booked ahead. most pitches just sand and weeds but water on most pitches. restaurant way out of our price range and the supermarket a joke. needs TLC and some money spent on to bring it to Yelloh standard. Porto Covo a charming village and nearby beaches amazing.
