In the popular French holiday region of Dordogne, Camping du Lac de Groléjac is set amidst greenery beside a lake. This fairly small-scale and family campsite with its hundred or so pitches really does exude tranquillity. You can enjoy the lake and the beautiful surroundings with old villages, castles, gardens and lovely markets.

Not much, just maybe if the pool opened slightly earlier it would allow for an early morning swim

The campsite has a peaceful atmosphere, with a lake with a beach next door. The site has great facilities and attractive grounds and hedges between the plots. The Lodge Canada we stayed in was well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The site managers were very pleasant.
Keep more of the wcs/washbasins/showers open during the quieter season

This was our 3rd time visiting this camp site. It is ran by the owners and as such, they do take care of the guests. The location is superb, right next to the lake that is also looked after, probably by the council. This is a gem of a place. Many thanks to Sebastien and Caroline for their hospitality.

We received a lovely warm welcome on arrival even though we were a couple of hours late. Friendly campsite with lots of character. Excellent location in the heart of the Dordogne.
