Camping du Lac de Savenay

Lovely rustic campsite with many beautiful trees. Terraced pitches. Spotless facilities with plenty of hot water. Located near a lake with a cafe and adventure park, which looked very inviting for an aging child like me!! They gave us a warm welcome and we would definitely return. We had planned on staying for one night but decided to stay and enjoy the tranquility for another day.

We absolutely loved this lovely leafy campsite. We received a lovely warm welcome on arrival and they were incredibly helpful, efficient and a joy to get to know. Our pitch was perfect for us. The toilet block was spotless and not freezing like most campsite ones are. The disabled loo and shower worked well. The water, waste and recycling facilities were good, including a compost bin to put your green waste in. The very nearby lake was stunning, especially at sunset. The local market was excellent. In all a very enjoyable stay and we will definitely be back!

Stayed in April so weather was not great with rain. Camp site quite large with lovely walks around the lake and only 15mins to walk into Savenay. Two facility blocks only one open, site was quiet so no problem. Facilities need up dating but loads of hot water. Pitches were level but a mixture of grass and hard standing. Stephanie the owner was really friendly and helpful, and worked hard to keep the place as good as possible given the size of the site. Thanks for all your advice and help. Would recommend but probably later in year.
