Late season stop over for 4 days to look around Fresnay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the site was immaculately kept with large, flat pitches and EHU included in price. Toilets were basic but clean and well kept. TBH this is my favorite municipal site which is saying something because most miunicapls are great!

Good overnight stay of the peage - gardienne is excellent, friendly, good english - Barrier controlled, in the low season lunch break until 15.00 hr. but plenty of parking space if arriving early, even with electric available. First part of the site has large delineated pitches, we stayed, as did most, in lower (older?) part bacing onto the river. Typical French sanitaire (2) perfectly adequate, hot showers. Town is a short (nearer 10 minute) walk - historic, fascinating, very quiet, with limtied lunching opportunities. Wouold use again.
