This very modest campsite with youth hostel and restaurant lies directly opposite the old centre of Avignon. From the terrace you have a view of the Palais des Papes, the largest Gothic building from the Middle Ages in Europe. The campsite lies directly on the Rhône, near the famous bridge over the river. You cannot camp any closer to the city, it is only a ten minute walk to the centre. Camping Bagatelle (open throughout the year) is convenient for a short stay only. For instance, as an overnight stop or to visit Avignon.
<p>Our pitches are at least 80m² and can be shaded or sunny. Electrical hookup is not included in the basic rate; it's an optional extra (we have 6 or 10 amps). The minimum equipment required is a car.</p>

There you will find everything you need to cook: utensils, hot plate, frying pan, cutlery, crockery, … The Coco Sweet is not equipped with a shower, sink or toilet: you will have to go to the common sanitary facilities of the campsite which are located no more than 50 meters from the accommodation. The pitches are good with plenty of shade. The facilities are ok and there is a shop and a very good restaurant. The location is amazing, opposite the city of Avignon with fantastic views. Was a good stop over lication
We ordered a croissant and pain au chocolate at the shop for the morning but when we went to pick it up there were no pain au chocolate
