We come from Germany and have been visiting campsites in England for more than twenty years. We came across this great site in the Lake District by chance. The first thing we noticed was the outstanding friendliness of the whole team. We gradually got to know the advantages. Since then we have been coming here every year. We have never had any problems or complaints. The exceptional cleanliness is immediately noticeable. Of course, we must mention the many opportunities for hiking. In the village of Keswick, which is within walking distance, there are plenty of shops and restaurants that can cater for more than your daily needs. A visit to the local market is also a must.If you need to get around without a car, the bus stop is very close by. The timetable has now been extended to include the evening hours. If we compare it with the places we have already visited, we think that this one stands out from all the others. That is why we are also proposing it as the best campsite for 2025.Come here and enjoy the fantastic view of the Derwenter and its mountains from your pitch. We have already booked and are looking forward to our next holiday.
