River Camping Bled

The best campsite we have ever stayed at. We turned up with no reservation & one of the lovely ladies was able to find space for us. Toilets and showers AMAZING (like a hotel). Everything very clean. Location is great if you have a car/bike. My partner proposed to me on the top of lake bled view point and I was so excited- came into reception dancing around and they were all so happy for me. Honestly everything about this campsite was perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This is a totally honest review about the River camping Bled. In my 40 years of camping caravanning and motorhoming, this has got to be the worst campsite I have ever stayed in. We paid for a premium pitch which was just a wet, muddy mess. We understand Slovenia has lots of rain. Clearly the campsite are aware of this and rather than invest in pitches and drainage, a maintenance man goes around daily filling in mud holes and puddles of water with wood chippings and stones On our pitch somebody had actually dug a water channel, and we noticed several other people after rain were digging their own water drainage pit channels I thought it was like staying in a muddy field. Facilities (showers etc) are good but if you want to visit lake Bled - find a better alternative When we complained, reception staff just said it was the weather and that we was nature. We now realise why the Local RV park was full because the pitches are not fit for purpose and the price charged is too high
