Numerous deep caves and abundant animal life are among this mountainous region's many remarkable features. Connect with the magic of nature, surrounded by the impressive foothills of the Pyrenees. This is a nice place to relax, get out and enjoy the Basque hospitality.

You'll be amazed by the green surroundings as you travel through Cantabria. Once you have arrived at De Ramales Campsite's reception, you will be warmly welcomed and proceed to one of the wooded camping pitches. You'll be camping in a bucolic setting at this very charming campsite, but also nearby the quaint village of Ramales de la Victoria.

Wooded accommodation

De Ramales Campsite has narrow pitches, but you'll have everything you need while also enjoying a spectacular view of the mountains. The facilities are very clean, well maintained and comfortable. The campsite's abundant trees ensure that all pitches are sheltered from the sun. Here you can really be at one with nature and enjoy the peace and quiet. Would you prefer to stay in a rental accommodation? You can do that, too. The campsite has a number of bungalows and apartments designed in harmony with nature.

Travelling party: Couple

A very nice rural campsite run by a very gentle man. Ignore the earlier review that talks about steep access and tight pitches, the entrance is a little elevated but we did it with a 8m motorhome. pitches are small but not impossible and worth the effort. Popular with larger Motorhomes returning on the Bilbao/Santander ferries. Hot showers and a lovely area; we will return. After crossing the bridge turn left and follow road for 0.75km do not go straight ahead past the cheese factory!
