If you have a 7.0mtr van the pitches are very small with barely room for an awning. The staff are friendly. You are only allowed one shower per person per day. Electricity very expensive. The place is surrounded by sky scrapers with new ones being built as we left so you loose the sun about 4.pm. Nice area though and very pleasant sea front

Stayed 17 nights. Last night two tents arrived. Very noisy. Ask them to keep noise down about 10.15 .. quiet till midnight then very noisy till 3.30am .. complain to office . Told I could move pitch if I wanted. And I was bad manners for complaining??? We asked could they not move noisy people they said no so we have moved 7 days earlier. Very badly handled by site officers. Manager did not want to get involved. I asked to speak to him.. nice site absolutely a shame ..

The staff are fantastic. From the cleaning staff to the boss they are all great. They run a number of activities themselves such as dancing lessons, keep fit etc., and they are enthusiastic, knowledgeable and super friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Spanish lessons, yoga and Pilates are brought in, and it’s all free. The campsite also encourages campers who want to run their own classes such as knitting sewing and Tai Chi. The campsite pitches are all flat, gravelled with water, electric hook up and drainage, and a hedgerow between each pitch providing additional privacy and security. The campsite itself is secure with reception manned twenty four hours. The location is really exceptional, being roughly 400 meters from the beach and promenade. From there you can walk along to the fishing port and see the fresh seafood being unloaded on weekdays. Fresh seafood restaurants abound. All this in the shadow of ‘The Rock’, Peñón de Ifach, which at over 300m provides an excellent challenge for the more adventurous scrambler and climbing routes galore. Paddle boarding, sailing and other water based activities are also available at the port and a regular boat bus to and from Benidorm in high season. Ten minutes walk from the campsite inland and you are in a different world of orange groves, hermitages and countryside, with a variety of graded walks colour coded en route. Walks are sometimes organised from the campsite with a drive out to the start point for those who have a bit more energy. Cycle routes are in abundance within fifty meters of the campsite gates. Five minutes walk from the campsite takes you in to the old town of Calpe itself. You are met with a mixture of modern shops and traditional family run businesses like restaurants and tapas bars, alongside shoe repairs and charity shops. Modern facilities such as medical and dental care are all within walking distance of the campsite. So, a great site, great location and super staff. What more do you want?

We have stayed here many times, the staff are very friendly and the location is e cry for motorhome owners as both the beach and town are within 10 minutes walk.
