Lovely quaint campsite near the Pueblo. Very peaceful and welcoming. The area is kept beautiful. My only criticism is that it is out of the way for shops etc That said I would definitely return again

Sadly, I and with regret, I just can’t recommend this El Quinto. This campsite is ideally located for Mojacar, and to be honest that’s about it. The site is so disappointing, disorganised and for the few days we visited, and during a heatwave, it had no fresh water! The site is very tired, and visitors camp wherever they want, in fact so close to each other, to create a fire risk. The trees have very low overhanging branches making parking quite dangerous in a motor home. The owner challenged our feedback some 8 months after we left it! We visited here during the first two weeks of August 2021, and there was no potable water on site, just a large and empty water tank near the shower block. When we asked about this problem we was told we would have to buy water in the local village as they were unable to help. The site is advertised with water, and yet it just didn’t supply it, and there is no point now claiming they had running water, was it potable as advertised . . .NO. This tired and dusty campsite had a complete lack of potable water, for 3 days, during a heatwave, that caused us great distress. The owner now claims there was sufficient water on site for us to buy, sadly, this just wasn’t true as the bar/reception was often closed. Also, why would have to buy water when we had already paid for it in our booking, and It wasn’t even fresh water, it was just boiled water! Just don’t go, there are many other clean, tidy, and fully equipped campsites in Spain. My name is a Pseudonym to stop trolling and hate mail
