Almayate Costa campsite is situated on the south coast of Spain between Málaga and Torre del Mar. You camp right by the beach in the less touristy area of the Costa del Sol. You can walk down the beach and dive straight into the Mediterranean Sea. The pitches, located under trees and shade cloths, are cool and have ample shade.

Stayed 2 nights early in January, but ACSI card was refused and we were told they only accept it February to early June. Well maintained site with bar, restaurant and supermarket (pool closed as it was winter). Shop also has a good selection of plugs, aerial fittings, groundsheet pegs & other bits and pieces. WiFi was unusable unfortunately whichever band you tried. Toilet and shower block very well cleaned and there was some warm water for dish washing. Torre de mar is a short easy cycle ride along the level (approx 3km). Pitches easy to enter with good access. Will return again in summer.
