In the extreme north-eastern part of Spain, on the well known Costa Brava, lies Camping La Ballena Alegre. This large campsite (more than 1100 pitches), located directly by the sea, is a veritable holiday paradise. Sun worshippers, water sports enthusiasts and families with children have been coming to this campsite for years. The campsite restaurant has a wide selection of tasty dishes. A unique feature is the separate camping area for dog owners.

Located by the beach, with beautiful pitches and clean toilet facilities. There is plenty to do for young people. The perfect place for a relaxing holiday. An almost 2 km long magnificent sandy beach. A special family campsite. This campsite is at one with the beach and the sea.

Very dog friendly. We have now stayed at the site four times and have already booked for summer 2022. The only downside to the location is it’s a long walk or a short car journey to the towns and restaurants. I would highly recommend a visit.
