The Playa Arenillas campsite is half an hour's drive from the beautiful city of Bilbao. In total, this campsite has 120 pitches and some rental options: two mobile homes and six tents. When the tide is low, a sandy beach appears next to the campsite. A little further is another sandy beach. There are various beautiful cycling and walking routes around the campsite. The children will also enjoy themselves on the large playground. In the morning you can go to the campsite for fresh bread and in the evening the paella is recommended in the campsite restaurant.

Two nights booked but left after one. Very tired campsite and a bit unloved. Facilities tired and in need of maintenance but generally clean & plentiful. Large number of permanent rather scruffy tents with long grass around them. Quite cramped pitches. Located just behind a lovely bay and small beach popular with surfers. Staff pleasant & speak good english. Nice little cafe with great croissants/coffee for breakfast. A lot of road noise overnight. Great location for Santander or Bilboa but would not stay again unless for that reason.

Handy for a one night stopover for Santander ferry. Pitches are very close together and the site was busy. Facilities are good, on site restaurant and shop, pleasant staff. Pretty setting. Steep downwards slope on entry so take care. Exit is easier.

Stayed for one night and got to say it’s a lovely site. Staff are friendly and very pleasant to deal with. Restaurant service was good and the food was good quality and a fair price. Hopefully we will be back again.
