Camping Mar Menor

First time staying at this site beginning of March. Ideal location for the beach which has direct access from the site. There’s also a boardwalk connecting a promenade towards Los Alcarcares and beyond, which is good for walking / cycling. There’s no entertainment on site other than the restaurant which we only used for coffee, so can’t comment on the food. The toilet / showers were spotless but could do with having drainage in the shower cubicles improved, as the water backs up each time. Staff are very helpful & friendly. Pitch surface is sand & a few stones, and really could do with being improved with a better surface, or add more aggregate onto the pitch. The site does suffer with mosquitoes, as it’s next to a nature wetlands area too, so bear this in mind if you get bitten frequently! Nevertheless, we liked it overall.

we have stayed here twice in the winter months so cannot comment on the pool, it does look good though. Staff always very friendly and helpful, the place is spotless and a good location for the beach.
