Thanks to the beautiful nature with forests, lakes, beautiful beaches and even mountains, Sweden is a wonderful holiday destination. At this campsite you camp in the southern Swedish province of Västergötland, four kilometres from the centre of the city of Skövde. Billingens Stugby och Camping is located in the middle of the forest and near a small lake. This family campsite is suitable for active campers, but also for holidaymakers who want to relax in nature.

Holidays in nature

The leafy campsite is located in a pine forest, on a plateau that lies above the neighbouring town of Skövde. This plateau, the Billingen, is a table mountain whose highest point is 304 metres above sea level. You camp here among the trees or on one of the spots in the open field. At the edge of the campsite is a lake where you can go swimming and fishing. Not a fan of natural water? There is an outside swimming pool next to the campsite, which camping guests can use for a small fee. Because of the pool's elevated position, you have great views of the surrounding area.

Back to basics

Billingens Stugby och Camping is not a campsite with an extensive entertainment programme and many facilities. At this campsite you go back to basics, but you will still find everything you need here. There is a heated toilet block and a fully equipped communal kitchen. The kitchen has several gas stoves with an oven and even a coffee maker. The campsite also features a playground for young children and a mini golf course. The campsite has 129 camping spots and a number of rental accommodations.

very nice campsite. large places. price ok. swimmingpole nearby. sportarea nearby. possibility to hike. hiking trails nearby. ( normal) Biking difficult because of hill. toilets and douches clean. you have to pay the douches. 5 Swedish kroon for 4 minutes (= actually less minutes. )
