On the Swedish west coast, close to the Norwegian border, lies Ylseröd-Camping. It is on a bay of the Baltic Sea, in a beautiful green area in the Västra Götalands Län region. This is where you can relax completely in the countryside. Go for a refreshing swim in the sea or the swimming pool. Catch crabs or fish and get out to enjoy the surrounding area. Strömstad, where the ferry departs for the Koster Islands, is a ten-minute drive away (9.5 km). Norway’s capital city Oslo (127 km) is about one and a half hours away.

Camping in a wooded area

Ylseröd-Camping is in a wooded, hilly area. Camp in a relaxed atmosphere, without demarcated pitches, with a few pitches that overlook the Baltic Sea. Campsite visitors without their own camping equipment stay in wooden chalets that are distributed throughout the campgrounds and have their own terrace. The chalets have a kitchen, bathroom and dining table.

Relax by the water

You can swim in the campsite’s heated outdoor swimming pool or in the sea. Sun loungers surround the swimming pool, allowing you to relax completely. The sea guarantees hours of pleasure. There are options to go kayaking, fish off the campsite’s jetty and there is even a small harbour for people with boats. The youngest guests can live it up in the playground or on the bouncy castle while the sports enthusiasts can enjoy the volleyball court or go for long walks in the beautiful countryside. The surrounding area offers a nice contrast with its cliffs, wooded areas and charming fishing villages.
