Do you enjoy swimming and cycling? Then this campsite on Lake Ägeri is perfect for you. The campsite grounds are mostly situated right on the lake and the campsite has a private pebble beach with a sunbathing lawn exclusively for guests. In the region, you will mostly find lakes surrounded by mountains. The campsite facilities are limited but its beautiful and tranquil location by the lake, the wide views, space, and the natural surroundings more than make up for this.

Grass or gravel?

The 'top' part of this beautifully situated campsite is very hilly. The pitches, however, are all situated on level ground. The pitches are well-maintained. The sizes vary from small to reasonable and spacious. One solution is to park your car at the campsite car park. The pitches are straight and located along straight paths, and are situated on grass or on gravel (for caravans and motorhomes). Everyone is welcome at this campsite because it doesn't cater to a particular group of people.

Swimming and cycling

Lake Ägeri is a wonderful place to go swimming. You can also indulge in all sorts of water sports on the lake. The campsite has its own beach (with small and large pebbles) with a sunbathing lawn for the exclusive use of the guests. The playground is modest and there is no entertainment programme. Children will mostly entertain themselves by, in and on the water. 

Eating

The campsite shop is small but sufficiently stocked. The restaurant is simple, neatly furnished and has a patio.

Travelling party: Couple

Wir waren schon mehrfach auf diesem CP, der sich in den letzten Jahren immer wieder gewandelt hat. Nun gibt es ein neues Konzept, das einen guten Eindruck macht.
Die Sanitäranlagen sind stets sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. In der Nebensaison haben Kiosk und Restaurant zwei Ruhetage in der Woche. Am Wochenende ist oft viel los.
Leider wird durch die meist ehrenamtliche Pflege auch mal am Wochenende der Rasen gemäht.
Ein großes Plus: keine Hunde erlaubt!

Camping hat zu kleine stellplätze. Ich musste mit dem Wohnmobil von Länge 7,25m bei dem Platz parkieren wo es viel zu eng ist, hinter der Rezeption. Wohnwagen Besitzer musste sein vortach wegmachen. Ich wollte rückwets auf den zu engen Platz fahren der Camping Besitzer will das nicht. Besitzer hat mich 4 mal gefragt wie lange das wohnmobil ist, der hätte uns nie ein grösseren Platz gegeben. So viel Chaos wie es auf dem Camping hat, habe ich noch nie erlebt. Es gibt keine richtige stellplätze und man steht zu eng aufeinander. Wer 2 Tage bleibt steht im hinteren Ecken und wer länger bleibt steht weiter vorne. Wer ein 6m wohnmobil hat bekommt der bessere Platz als die mit einem Wohnmobil wo 7,25m hat eine Frechheit
