Country Camping Schinderhannes is a largely wooded terraced campsite, located on a lake. It is situated south-east of the village of Hausbay. The camping pitches are spacious, have a grass surface and offer ample shelter. There is always plenty to do, both on the campsite and in the area.

Recently visited this site several times and can say there have been vast improvements since 2018. First off, there is a new owner and new staff. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Secondly, the main bath and toilet facilities have been upgraded and renovated. Campgrounds and the surrounding area are very clean and well kept. A small kiosk is now open offering a very good variety of food and drinks as well as hygiene essentials. The restaurant offers a very spacious dining area and specializes in local cusine - very tasty and filling.
