    <p>The Quiet Site is situated between Little Mell Fell and Ullswater. The views have a real alpine feel: look west at Helvellyn, England’s favourite mountain, &nbsp;east for the Pennines and south over Ullswater for Barton, Hallin and Place Fells.<br>We have two types of camping and touring pitches at The Quiet Site:</p><p>All-weather fully serviced pitches for caravans, tents, trailer tents and motorhomes (They come in both Large and Standard size pitches)<br>All-weather electric pitches for smaller tents, roof tents, small motorcaravans or VWs (These come only as Standard size pitches)<br>Pitches are available for a maximum of two adults plus three children.</p>

    <p>Enjoy Lake District glamping in one of our lovely Glamping Cabins. &nbsp;Our Glamping Cabins offer a touch of luxury while allowing you to experience the best of outdoor living in the heart of Cumbria. &nbsp;Our Glamping Cabins are made just a few miles away from us here at Ullswater and they enjoy views across Little Mell Fell and Priests Cragg.</p><p>Each of our Glamping Cabins sleeps 2 adults and inside you’ll find:</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; A spacious inside area (15 sqm)<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; Sprung double bed, gorgeous cotton sheets, duvet and pillows<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; WC, basin, shower and towels<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; Simple kitchen including plates, cups, cutlery, bowls, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and sink etc<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; Large covered, outside wooden deck with picnic table or table and chairs.<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; Carbon Neutral – All heating and hot water comes vis a district heat main from our remote Ground Source Heat Pump, Solar panels and biomass boiler.</p>

Properly managed, medium-sized, terraced campsite with views of the Ullswater lake. On the campsite is a lovely, old and cosy pub. For rent are: holiday homes, mobile homes, hiker's huts, tents, wooden cabins and new, beautiful Hobbit Holes (2018) that are dug in and have fantastic views.

Offers excellent and “green” sustainable facilities and is a regional base for all the eastern and Far Eastern fells in the Lake District. It does not need entertainment it is out there waiting. It is quiet.
