Within walking distance of Hadrian's Wall and with all facilities. Hiking trails from the campsite in all directions, with views, archaeological places and history. Packaged breakfast and lunch for trips. Ideal for campers who love peace and beauty. All-inclusive excursions for groups of six or more.

Access roads to site steep and twisty. Terraced site would not recommend for large motorhomes or caravans. We did ask why we were put onto the very sloping and uneven field which is also used for tents and told emphatically that it was where all caravans are placed. ONE only water tap, tiny washing up area, limited showers and toilets (presumed 2 of each). We had small caravan and had to use high ramps supplied by owner - not happy. No other option for us other than to leave. Much better options in the area.
