Good site with good view of Oban bay only 1.5 miles out of town and a bus service to Oban
toilets are very clean
We love the location of this camping site next to the water with beautiful views. The showers and toilets have been upgraded this year and we were the first visitors to use the new facilities. They are very impressive. The showers are very powerful, much better than they were last time we visited. Everything was very clean and new. Our pitch was level and had a good view. The grass was very short and tidy like a golf course! Oban is a lovely town with everything you need. The shop on the site is very good if you don\'t want to go to Oban. We will definitely return here, especially now the facilities are new.
Not overly impressed. Nice views but toilet and shower facilities poor. Had planned to spend 3 nights here but moved on after one night.
We chose this camping site as it is near the water (we are canoeists), it is in a stunning location and had a play area for our 2 young children. Unfortunately it did not live up to expectation. The reception was closed during the day, despite there being a map of where to pitch and jetty camping clearly marked, we where told we could not camp there and had to move, which we did with no fuss and found another pitch some distance from the water. The children enjoyed the swings and exploring near the nearby shore. I have to say that I found the facilities for such a large site rather lacking, this lead to long queues in the morning for the showers and the toilets (not great with youing children). The staff we found unhelpful and unfriendly. We had planned to settle there for a while to explore the beautiful area but we felt somewhat unwelcome and decided to leave the next day.
