Nice, smaller campsite at the top edge of Kirkcudbright, traditionally an artists' town. Views over the town and the hills to the coast.

We have just spent a week on this campsite and would highly recommend it. The pitches are spacious. Facilities are well kept. Staff very helpful. Pitches overlooking the town are excellent, especially in the great weather we had. A short walk into town through the park leads to lots of different shop, parks, eating places etc. Top class. Would recommend Solway Tide. Beautiful tea garden. No sports facilities apart from a brilliant children’s play park.
