Prachtige omgeving, wandelen en fietsen, heerlijk rustig, voor wielerliefhebber een aanrader, afstand naar Nederland is acceptabel, het weer was prima, een complete vakantie.

A lovely, restful site just on the river, and the staff were pretty good, as was the small restaurant. We would go back again.

Als doorstroom camping is het een prima camping om 1 of 2 nachtjes te overnachten. De camping ligt mooi gelegen aan de Saone met een prachtig uitzicht. De staanplaatsen zijn ruim opgezet en goed onderhouden (zeker als je nagaat dat de camping nogal eens onder water komt te staan in het naseizoen). Het heeft een gezellig uitstraling, in iedergeval aan de linkerkant. Het personeel is vriendelijk en doet goed zijn best Engels te praten. Dat geld ook voor het personeel in het restaurant. Hier hebben we prima gegeten, zeker voor dat geld. Het sanitair is wat oud en oogt wat smerig. Dit zal zeker te maken kunnen hebben met de gasten omdat het ook echt als doorstroomcamping wordt gebruikt. Ondanks dat het regelmatig wordt schoongemaakt, oogt het wel iets minder fris. Nadeel aan de camping is wel dat de plekjes aan het water maar voor 3 dagen bezet kan worden. Met een beetje zeuren kan je het wel eens wat verlengen. Verder prima camping, zeker om te gebriuken als doorstroop.

Prima doorgangscamping met grote plaatsen met mooi gras. Heel mooi en goed zwemmeertje met recreatiestrandje. Het eten in het restaurantje op de camping is wat snackbarachtig, maar wel redelijk. Personeel doet goed zijn best, ook met Engels. We wilden er gerust nog wel wat langer blijven staan, als we meer tijd hadden gehad. Let op: Eén van de toegangswegen door het dorp heeft een laag bruggetje met een doorrijhoogte van 2.50 mtr. Zorg dat je weet hoe hoog je caravan is, of neem de andere route, dat is ook geen probleem.
