The camp site is located the southeast of the city. Drive via the N10 and take the ring road N123 until the intersection with the N154. Then follow the signs 'Centre Douane' and afterwards follow the camping signs.

Een rustige camping met veel Engelsen die op doorreis zijn. Goed sanitair en de plaatsen zijn ruim. Deze camping is een goede uitvalbasis voor een bezoek aan de stad. Een goede stop-overcamping.

Durchgangsplatz für Stadtbesucher. Sehr zentrumsnah gelegen, trotzdem ruhig. "Schnellimbiss" am Platz, aber recht teuer und beschränktes Angebot.

Op deze camping grote plaatsen vrij te kiezen. Heel veel pasanten, maar ook geschikt om enkele dagen door te brengen. Er is een supermarkt in de omgeving (ong.3km) Chartres is makkelijk te voet bereikbaar langs een mooi weggetje achter de camping. Wie met de fiets naar Chartres wil, moet wel rekening houden met zeer steile hellingen en trappen. De Kathedraal is zeer mooi.
