In den Osterferien verbrachte ich mit meiner Familie 2 Wochen auf dem Campingplatz Doktorsee in Rinteln. Neben dem sehr freundlichen Personal (es war zu jeder Zeit ansprechbar und hilfsbereit) war ich von der allgemeinen Grundordnung bzw. Sauberkeit des Platzes und der Sanitäranlagen und den Gaststätten sehr angetan. Bei meinen täglichen Besuchen verschiedener Sanitärhäuser auf dem Platz (bedingt durch die spielenden Kinder) traf ich immer auf dort reinigendes Personal. Das Essen in den drei Gaststätten war gut und schmackhaft bei noch angenehmen Preisen. Habe ich nicht auf allen von mir besuchten Campingplätzen so vorgefunden. Bei Nachfragen an der Rezeption wurden wir immer wieder gut beraten. Ganz besonders hat uns das nähere Umland des Campingplatzes gefallen. Sehr gut geeignet für Radtouren, da relativ flache Strecken. Wir für uns bereits beschlossen diesen Platz auch im Jahr 2012 wieder aufzusuchen. Allen Lesern ein frohes Fest und einen guten Rutsch.

Der See ist richtig schön. Allerdings verlange ich für einen deustechn Campingplatzauch Sauberkeit (speziell im Sanitärbereich), die absolut nicht gegeben war. Die Sanitärbereiche werden nur alle 1-2 Tage gereinigt. Ein stark durchstechender Uringeruch kommt einem schon vor dem Betreten des Häuschens entgegen. Bei der Anzahl an Campingbesuchern und im Vergleich zu anderen Campingplätzen müsste hier alle 2-3 Stunden gereinigt werden. Eine Zumutung für jeden Besucher, deren Riechorgan noch funktioniert. Im Übrigen werden dezente Hinweise an der Rezeption konsequent ignoriert. Allgemein ist das Personal auf dem ganzen Platz sehr unhöflich und kein bisschen hilfsbereit. Bei Problemen oder Fragen fühlt man sich allein gelassen. Für unseren Wochenendausflug leider ein absoluter reingefall diesbezüglich. Wir wissen nun, dass wir den See nicht wieder besuchen werden.

Bin den Campingplatz auf meiner Fahrradtour von Bremen nach Südfrankreich für eine Nacht angefahren. Habe hier gezeltet. Alles in Ordnung. Riesengroßer Platz der von Dauercampern dominiert wird.

Wij zijn 2 nachten op deze camping geweest, de bedoeling was dat we hier 2 weken zouden blijven, maar dit liep anders.B ij de receptie deelden ze ons tussen neus en lippen mede dat er blauwalg was geweest, maar dat er een scherm was geplaatst in het water en er nu dus geen gevaar meer was, nadat we onze caravan hadden staan zijn wij wat gaan eten in het restaurant, hier hebben we 3 uur moeten wachten op ons eten (met een kind van 1 en 6 jaar) we mochten nog wel een ijsje op hun kosten uitzoeken, maar de kid's hadden het helemaal gehad en hadden alleen maar behoefde aan hun bed, tegen 22:30 komen er 2 opgeschoten jongens bij ons aan de caravan en vragen of wij sterke drank voor hun hebben. Het sanitair was ronduit vies en oud, jammer want wij hadden na het zien van de folders, een mooie verzorgde 5 sterren camping verwacht, wij zijn na 2 nachten weer vertrokken.

Camping ligt prachtig aan het meer (met veel surfmogelijkheden). Dit meer heeft een afgeschermd zwemmersdeel en loopt langzaam af. Daarom is het zeer geschikt voor kinderen. Voor 2009 staat de bouw van een grote glijbaan gepland. Men kan rond de camping lopen, waarbij men aan één zijde langs de Weser loopt. Dagelijks is er een uitgebreid animatieprogramma voor kinderen. Men kan uitstekend eten (aanrader!) bij de drie restaurants op de camping.

Er wordt elk weekend wel wat georganiseerd, bijvoorbeeld "Strandfest Europatag" en "Bayerische Abend". Het klapstuk is het drie dagen durende spektakel Doktor-See in Flammen. Verder ligt het prachtige historische plaatsje Rinteln op loopafstand. Hiern vindt men ook alles wat men aan inkopen nodig heeft bij verschillende supermarkten. Verder heeft het Weserbergland uitgebreide schitterende fietsmogelijkheden en zijn er ruim voldoende toeristische bezienswaardigheden. Wie hier eenmaal is geweest komt zeker terug!
