We zijn hier vaker geweest. Zoals vaker is vermeld, is er sprake van achterstand bij 't onderhouden van met name de sanitairgebouwen, maar dat valt ons vaker op in Griekenland. Wij stonden aan het strand en dan is er elke avond muziek te horen van de bar. Er zijn er die daar van houden, maar voor ons mocht de
muziek wel uit. Verder van de zee af is de muziek niet te horen, dus waar kies je voor.

Een prettige rustige camping met ruime plaatsen. Ook zijn de mensen aan de receptie vriendelijk. Jammer genoeg worden in het voorseizoen de afvalemmers niet dagelijks geleegd.

Nette camping, maar in het hoogseizoen kan het druk zijn. Wij hadden een plekje achter op de camping, niet te dicht bij het restaurant want daar is voortdurend muziek. Vriendelijk personeel en van hieruit voldoende mogelijkheden om Mani te verkennen.

Ungepflegte veraltete Anlage, viele Wespen wegen Feigenbäumen, unzulängliche veraltete überlastete Stromversorgung, durchgebrannte Stechdosen. Alte vergammelte Sanitäreinrichtung, Duschen, keine Einzelduschen, Seit 20 Jahren nichts saniert!, Duschen teilweise defekt, Sanitäreinrichtung selten gereinigt, abends regelmäßig keine warme Duschen.

Von morgens bis nach Mitternacht sehr laute Strandbar mit Musikbelästigung, vergammelter Spielplatz mit verrosteten und teilweise beschädigten Spielgeräten, nichts für Kinder! Sportfeld mit Diesteln verunkrautet und seit langem ungepflegt. Strand gut für Surfer und geeignet, auflandiger Wind, grober Sandstrand, trübes Wasser. Gute Tervernen in der Umgebung, Schildkrötennester am Strand, der schlechteste Platz von 9 im August besuchten.

Schöner Campingplatz in sehr guter Lage mit freier Platzwahl (keine Boxen). Von hier aus ist die Mani hervorragend zu bereisen. Auf dieser Rundreise sollte der Besuch der Stadt Areopolis nicht ausgelassen werden. Eine besondere Empfehlung ist der Ort Gythion selbst mit seinen Fischtavernen, Fischhändlern und dem Freitagsmarkt.

Die sanitären Anlagen auf dem Campingplatz bedürfen einer besseren Pflege. Gleichwohl ist die Unsauberkeit von den Touristen in vielen Fällen selbst verursacht. Die Heisswasserversorgung war in den Spitzenverbrauchszeiten nicht gewährleistet. Die elektrotechnischen Anlagen werden nach Aussage des Eigentümers Ende 2009 erneuert.

Wir empfehlen die Anreise, sollten Sie aus Richtung Sparta kommen, nicht durch den Ort Gythion. Biegen Sie circa 4 Kilometer vor dem Ort nach rechts in Richtung Areopolis ab und fahren Sie dann in Richtung Mavrovouni.
