The campsite Gythion Bay is located on the south coast of the Greek Peloponnese region, right on the beach and the Mediterranean Sea. On this beach campsite, you are camping in the shadow of orange and olive trees. With a luxurious outdoor swimming pool looking out on to the beach, a restaurant with a terrace under the olive trees and modern sanitation, this Greek campsite is complete.

Camping in the orchard

With your tent or caravan among the olive trees: at the Gythion Bay campsite, you camp the Greek way. The campsite is located in a large orchard, where olive trees, orange trees, fig trees and nut trees alternate with each other. They provide shady spots, but some of the three hundred touring sites are also in the sun. You can camp right on the beach, on demarcated pitches.

Mediterranean Sea

From the swimming pool, you have a view over the beach and the Mediterranean Sea. Beach and campsite are separated from each other by a fence, but you'll just walk through the gate and have your feet in the sand. There is space for everyone on the broad sandy beach. There is a beach volleyball pitch for everyone who wants to play a round. Or dive into the clear water of the Mediterranean Sea.

Restaurant and mini-market

The restaurant is just near the beach and the swimming pool. Here you can enjoy a Greek meal on the terrace in the shadow of the olive trees. Or have a glass of wine or cocktail and enjoy the long summer evenings. Next to the terrace, there is also a cosy bar where you can toast your holiday.

An excellent site. The only problem was the arrangement of pitches. This meant that there was someone behind us who had great difficulty in getting in and out of his pitch with his campervan without either us or our neighbours having to move! This poor design would make me think very hard before booking again.

Our 3rd visit. We like the site very much. It’s always quite busy even in low season.
The restaurant has a changing menu and is good value.
Pool is great addition along with directly on the beach.

Le camping, même avec ACSI reste très cher.... les emplacements ne sont pas séparés par des haies, pas d'eau sur les places. aucune intimité préservée. les sanitaires sont corrects avec eau chaude mais seulement 2 douches pour ceux placés près de la piscine. les boutons pressoirs de la vaisselle, lavabos et douches sont courts en temps. il faut constamment appuyer. l'accueil est normal sans plus. le restaurant était fermé. nous avons passés deux nuits juste pour visiter Sparte et Mystra.

Excellent staff and campsite, other campers very considerate. Mild criticism - some overhanging trees make some pitch access difficult and access to grey water drainage quite difficult.

We hebben genoten van de ruime plek, het mooie zwembad en de zee. Sanitair is top en wordt goed schoon gehouden. En fantastische medewerkers. Op de camping constateerde ik een breuk in de beugel van het fietsenrek. Ik vroeg bij de receptie om hulp en wat er toen gebeurde overtrof alle verwachtingen. Ik werd compleet ontzorgd. Twee dagen later was de beugel perfect gerepareerd en ik mocht er niets voor betalen!

This is my favourite campsite in Greece. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with quality services. The restaurant is lovely and very reasonable. Right next to a beach and set in an olive grove. Children seem to love the place and there is a good playground. We've been 2 years running and it is on our list for next year.

The campsite is very very nice. All the facilities are excellent. Restaurant is nice but feels a little cramped and dull compared to the taverna next door. Bar is lovely. Access into the site is very good. Our XL pitch was a little on the small size. Beautiful beach just outside the site. Quiet and peaceful. Clean and well maintained. Staff very helpful and friendly.
