Hebben op deze camping gestaan aan het einde van het jaar 2011. We hebben kunnen genieten van prachtig weer en een mooie omgeving. Albufeira is geweldig met zijn prachtige stranden en de "loop"weg er naar toe is prima te doen. Eén ding moet ons echter van het hart vwb de camping. De dienstverlening van sommige personeelsleden van de frontdesk laat zeer te wensen over (2 uitzonderingen daargelaten). De internettoegang rammelde van alle kanten. De plaatsen zijn prima maar niet egaal en denk om de vele bomen ivm de schotel. Het sanitair is prima en wordt zeer regelmatig schoongemaakt. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is niet in evenwicht met elkaar. Wij vonden de plaats voor de winterperiode aan de hoge kant.

De inspecteur van ACSI moet zich schamen om dit een mondaine camping te noemen, amper 3 sterren waardig, toiletten alleen goed bij afgehuurde plaatsen door een Engelse caravanclub waar je niet mag komen en de rest van de toiletgebouwen zijn sterk verwaarloosd, van de 10 douches zijn er 2 met warm water, op sommige plaatsen lijkt het wel een caravan kerkhof waar wel 30 zwerfkatten in zitten. Toen ik er was werd er een Nederlandse vrouw met een ijzeren jeu de boulebal geslagen en kon naar ziekenhuis. Campig ziet er op het eerste oog leuk uit maar is echt in vervallen toestand en veel te duur. Eigenaar is ook niet geïnteresseerd in kritiek en ook niet bepaald dol op Duitsers en Nederlanders, er wordt dan ook verschil in prijs gemaakt maar dat wuift hij weg. Ik heb al verschillende mensen gesproken die er al meer dan 8 jaar komen en niet meer teruggaan. In een woord slecht.

Retired couple from UK, car + twin axle caravan, stay planned for two weeks, only cut short by illness to wife who had to fly back to UK. Thanks to all the staff for their help during her time taken ill. We loved this site and what it offered. It is a short distance away from the old town of Albuferia, and the beach. Also close to supermarkets and good priced wine and spirit shops. The camp site has excellent security for entrance and exit (even if you are walking!!). This site is a long haul from the Spanish ports of Santander & Bilbao, and although we decided to route to Sallamanca and through to Fatima for a 2 day stop and then Lisboan to Albuferia, I returned (of course on my own (since my wife had flown back several days earlier) via Seville, Cordoba, Madrid and then to Bilbao. I chose this return route because Spain was a lot closer to the border for cheaper fuel.

Tout était très bien, sauf le restaurant: pas très très bon, camping très bien entretenu, sanitaires très propre, piscine très agréable!!

Albufeira ligt in het centrum van de Algarve en Camping Albufeira is de grootste van de Algarve. Dit betekent gelijk, dat u grote plaatsen hebt. Zoek maar uit wat u wilt hebben. Veel ervaren gasten gaan wat hoger op de bult staan, wat meer wind en dus verkoeling. Bij het restaurant kunt u gratis internetten. De zwembaden zijn gratis. Warm water (douchen en afwassen) is gratis. Er lopen veel schoonmakers en tuinlieden rond. Zomers zijn er restaurants genoeg op de camping. Buiten de poort is een stads-bushalte. Aan de weg in de buurt is een groot zelfbedieningsrestaurant waar u voor 12 Euro voorgerecht, soep, hoofdgerecht, nagerecht en wijn kunt krijgen. In augustus kan het er erg druk zijn, want dan hebben de Portugezen ook vakantie. Bezoek o.a. ook even "Algarve-shopping". De camping wordt streng bewaakt. Toezicht zelf op de camping ('s nachts e.d.) is er niet. In de zomer is er elke avond muziek. De stranden in de buurt zijn geweldig.
