Een leuke camping in een "Portugees" dorp met het strand en het eiland binnen handbereik. Het enige nadeel is de soms grote herrie in de nacht die rondom de camping wordt veroorzaakt door scheurende motoren en luide muziek vanaf restaurantjes.

De camping is op zichzelf zeer matig met sinds 2009 afgebakende plaatsen in 3 categorien en 3 prijzen. De grote trekpleister is echter het dorpje, centrum op 300 meter, de rivier ook op 300 meter en de zee met prachtig zandstand van enige kilometer lengte. Strand ligt overigens wel achter de lagune, gevormd door de rivier, zodat het frequent varende pontje daarmee de verbinding vormt. Camping populair bij Engelse toeristen

Gunstige ligging in de plaats, dus alles op loopafstand. Terrein maakt een rommelige indruk met name door de troep die vaste verblijvers verzameld hebben.

Medium sized popular site in town, with local yoofs outside adding to the ambience in the evening. Ignore directions from Satnav when you reach town, it will have a fit of the vapours trying to find the place - use the map, being careful of one way streets. Fairly small entrance. Many of the units are packed very close together. Snack bar / bar very good, open 09.00 - 20.00. Level pitches, sanitary good, Europlug electrics. Adequate grocery shop on site open 08.00 - 13.00 and 15.00 - 20.00. Good spoken English. Average rates, but could be better value.

Living on campsite at the moment, very nice & friendly ! would recomend to anyone - but lots of cats about on site!
