I found the self check-in annoying! They send two long emails containing the magic code - then, at the barrier, you can’t type in any code. You have to hunt around for a machine to enter your code. Once through the barrier, you have to hunt for your site. There’s poor signage, poor site numbering and no map to help you - you have to open the web site to see a map. Far too much hassle for an expensive campsite.
