In the touristy area of the southern part of the crystal clear Wolfgangsee lies Paradiescamping Wolfgangsee Birkenstrand. The campsite is located halfway between the towns of Sankt Gilgen en Abersee, both less than five km away. The Wolfgangsee in the vicinity of the campsite is a lovely place for families with young children. The reason is that you can walk quite a distance into the lake before it gets deeper.
