Snow-capped mountains in winter, green meadows in summer; the Sportcamp Woferlgut area looks like a postcard picture all year round. The vicinity of the camping site is crammed with sports activities, such as skiing, cycling tours, zip-lines for children and swimming a few lengths in the natural lake. You can enjoy delicious local specialities in the restaurant.
At the foot of the Großglockner, the highest mountain in Austria, lies Sportcamp Woferlgut. The camping site is not far from the attractive town Zell am See, the lake by the same name and the village of Kaprun.
Feel like cooling down? There is plenty of water around! The camping site swimming pool is lovely and heated and from the pool, you have a stunning view of the mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park. On the other side of the road is a lovely, natural swimming lake with large sunbathing lawn.
The camping site is well-equipped for a winter sports holiday. There is a shuttle bus service to the piste from the camping site. After a lovely day of skiing or cross-country skiing, you can dry your ski equipment in the drying area, where you will also find a special ski boot heater.
The camping site is affiliated with Roadbike Holidays and has all the amenities for enthusiastic racing cyclists who are not afraid of climbing. At the reception, you can ask for more information regarding training, gear and cycling events in the region. At least once a week a cycling group departs from the camping site with a cycling expert.

We arrived late in the evening, in rain, but everything was clean. The place is dog-friendly.
Nice new swimming pool. It would be better if we could choose our own pitch.
This is the best camp site we have ever visited. It's more expensive than most but really worth it. The staff were extraordinarily pleasant and helpful. The surroundings are beautiful, with immediate access to the Großglockner, which is astounding. Drinks in the huge restaurant are good value and delicious and we had fun playing the super modern mini golf course. Just a short walk away is the beautiful lake with great sports facilities. The most amazing thing about the site is the toilet facilities, which are by far the best on any campsite we have ever visited. You feel like you're in Las Vegas as you ascend the staircase to the warm, superbly luxurious shower facilities, as good as you would get in a top hotel.
We stayed overnight ,one in hotel & myself, wife & 3 dogs in Camper.Very friendly staff & we arrived in the dark after 7pm .Off the beaten track for an overnight stay but well worth the visit .Toilet & washroom facilities fantastic, wish we had time to really appreciate the site & area.
Excellent site with first class toilet and washing facilities. Very good restaurant and sports facilities. Convenient for village and supermarket nearby as well as well stocked shop on site.
An OK site but very expensive even on ACSI. We stayed 4 days and were charged an additional for local tax & environment plus extra for Elec! we used 17KW in 4 days! Restaurant has silly prices for drinks. Would avoid
Staff spoke English, were welcoming especially our waitress who light heartedly was teaching us German !
Facilities very good, sanitation block modern and clean, shop well stocked with essentials. Pitch had excellent on site grey and fresh water facility, leccy has to be connected by staff. Our pitch, no23, did not possess it's own space being next to the corner OR the next door occupant selfishly parked his car and contents in what would have been our space. Entertainment in traditional dress and music was lovely, will visit again !
Beautiful panorama, great for cycling, walking and photo opportunities. Warm welcome. Site was nearly full and our Motorhome had to be squeezed lengthways in opposite direction to others (being British) cos of the door. Sanitation blocks modern and good ,except insufficient numbers, always had a queue BUT don't let it put you off, will visit again.
Lovely location and campsite but....why do we have to pay so much in extras for Austrian campsites?
