Fantastic view, superb bus and cycle route into Salzburg. Unfortunately we encountered very unfriendly, uptight staff. The toilet facilities although very modern totally lacked every day care...smells were absolutely horrendous! Nothing seemed to be thoroughly cleaned.

This was our stopover to Slovenia. Also great position to see Salzburg. Short stroll from campsite to bus stop then short journey in. Quite touristy and busy. It was a Saturday so lots going on.. sat in a bar listening to a jazz band.
The site is set on terraces but well laid out. The toilet block is brand new and spotlessly clean. There is a restaurant but only had coffee while downloading new maps onto satnav for Croatia. There is a charge and best reception was by the restaurant

Ideal site for visiting Salzburg. The site is located just off the motorway and less than 10 mins walks ( a bit hilly) from the bus that takes you into the city centre. Great views of the surrounding mountains and fortress. Friendly staff and facilities all first class. The site doesn't do the ACSI out of Season deal, so a bit more expensive at this time of year, but I think all of the ACSI sites in Salzburg are similar.

We stayed here for two days and the campground owner couldn't have been more accommodating to us. We had very long conversations with him. He treated us with the utmost respect. His staff was also the best.

We shared our 12 years of full time rv'ing in the US with him and he was surprised we did it that long.

If we come back to Europe again, this will be the first campground we stay at without a doubt.

We just finished 5 weeks in a motorhome traveling in 10 different countries and this is by far the best accommodations we had used. Showers fantastic. Restaurant food out of this world. First class chef for sure.

If you are in the Salzburg area, this is a MUST place to camp.

We were choosing between this campground and the other one on the other side of the 150. SO glad we chose this one.

On arrival, some of the pitches were unsuitable due to recent bad weather but we were advised of this and found a pitch with a wonderful view.
Toilet facilities were probably among the best we have ever experienced. Plentiful, clean and very spacious.
Fresh bread delivered daily to order. Short walk to the bus stop to take you into the center of Salzburg.
Owner was friendly and informative. We were only there to see Salzburg but there seemed to be plenty of information regarding walks, etc in the are.
Highly recommended.

Travelling party: Family with children, various ages

My wife and daughter stayed with me at the campsite for three nights in September. We just turned up and were greeted with warmth by the owner, his wife and assistants. All spoke good English and couldn't have been nicer. We ate there twice over the weekend and had breakfast every morning. Everything well presented.
On leaving were given some chocolates for our journey. No pool. Easy access to town by bus, cycle or walking. Highly recommended.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant served us one of the best meals that we had during our 4 week stay in Austria. Good location and a short walk to a bus that takes you right to the Old Town area. Recommended.
