Camping Sandaya Parc la Clusure

Awful smell from the water purification site which hit us as soon as we arrived. It was so bad (a cross between sewage and ammonia) that we were not able to eat on our pitch. Despite complaining to reception and their awareness's of the problem they were not able to move us and told us to complain on line which we did. The response acknowledged the problem but only offered points towards a future stay. We will not go to a Sandaya site again, the pitch was very small with dead grass and mud. We ended up spending quite a lot of money eating at the restaurant because of the smell on our pitch so it was a big win for Sandaya who have washed their hands of us and closed our complaint. The company has a terrible attitude towards their customers. (I was not asking for an unreasonable compensation just a small credit to my bank or credit card). I feel that as they were aware (since last year) of the smell they should not have taken our booking, or have given us the option to cancel.
