Camping Floreal Het Veen

Location and being close to a good supermarket. Quiet site.

The bar and restaurant needs to open again as the site is looking a little tired. Could do with a redecoration of the toilets and definitely provide some toilet roll in the toilets

Level pitch

Hard to locate site. Confusion over payment when I had already paid. Reception staff didn't know what he was doing. Difficult to access disabled bathroom. Outdated toilets/showers. Very dirty washing up area full of leaves, cobwebs and outdated. The cafe was closed and no information provided for the local area for shops/cafes.

De sfeer was goed.

Sanitair is niet van deze tijd. Toiletrollen is toch het minimum. Douchen was niet te doen met de knop elke keer weer aanzetten.

2nd visit to this site which is ideally situated for a short stay with plenty of walks and cycling into Antwerp and surrounding area. We liked it so much we decided to return.

This time we had a pitch which was very dusty and under trees where there was an abundance of tree and pigeon droppings. On the first evening after an outing we returned to find, a group of six to eight lads kicking footballs about near our pitch which was totally unacceptable. Despite asking them not to play near our caravan three times and finally after a ball hit our car, they drifted over to the correct play area. The whole episode was extremely stressful and dissapointing !. Next morning we reported the incident to reception, and she dealt with it promptly and sympathetically.

Nice quite location

Getting there was a nightmare. The site should have provided us with a route given that the main road nearby has been dug up.
