Blauwe Meer in Lommel is an inviting campsite in a green, forest environment. As the name suggests, there is a lake in the centre of the park featuring a sunbathing lawn. Fans of indoor water fun will enjoy a swimming paradise. After a day full of fun, head to the campsite restaurant for a tasty meal. You can also hire a barbecue and gourmet set from reception for a fun, culinary evening.

The swimming pool and indoor facilities were closed but we enjoyed our stay. The toilet and sanitary block was immaculate and well maintained and clean. Each toilet had cleaning gel for Covid too. We enjoyed walking around the lake and cycling in the area. The track to cycle in the trees in a must and the children loved this. Child friendly cycle tracks and then a path that takes you up into tree canopy was a lot of fun... about 4 k from campsite. The restaurant was busy on the terrace and people were happy with takeaways. The shop was good and had basics for camping etc and things you run out of. Nice bread and pastry’s. The staff were friendly and accommodating but didn’t know which route the cycling was on but another guest helped us. The water beach playground looked amazing but pool looked a little small for thé size of the park. We played on the mini golf and this is free with your stay. We had a nice 3 day break here.
