Camping Molenheide

We had a good stay despite Covid closing down many facilities so very unfair to judge the campsite on this. We enjoyed the pool and got 3 hour slots for every day. The campsite was beautiful and very clean and well maintained ... bins everywhere so no excuse. The camping staff were extremely friendly and the park warden on hand to hook us up and great service. The woodland was our favourite part as geocaching was lovely, wild boar, pot bellied pigs and a lovely cafe and playground to discover that was open. The cycle routes near the campsite to a play wood, bird viewing tower and fishing lakewere beautiful and safe easy cycling. The shop was very small and we were surprised so ventured into the town to stock up. All facilities will open in June which will raise ratings as facilities to enjoy such as bowling, inside golf, virtual reality ans slides...which our boys were upset were closed but understood with Covid. we enjoyed our stay.
