In West Flanders, near the seaside resort of Nieuwpoort, you can camp a mere 800 metres from the sea. The beach is just a ten-minute walk via an inviting dune path. Camping de Lombarde offers a cosy bar with terrace, fish pond and playground. And, in the summertime, children can enjoy craft hours and sports competitions here. Cycling enthusiasts can rent a bike from the campsite to explore the area via one of the many cycling routes. A major advantage of the campsite is its central location for exploring the rest of the Belgian coastline.

Stayed en route for three nights on either end of a holiday in Netherlands. The camping field was quiet (off season) so we had plenty of room. They were unable to freeze ice blocks as shop was not open The toilet block was clean with plenty of hot water, however the toilet block had no toilet paper or soap for hand washing. In 2024 when everyone should be aware of the importance of hand hygiene it is unacceptable that campsites have no soap in the toilet area. This seemed to be a common theme to other campsites along the Belgian coast.

it is a campsite that feels homely and welcoming. The people running the campsite are friendly and will do anything they can to make your stay as good as possible. After staying for a while they will feel like part of the family and friends.
