Camp Slapic

Fantastic Riverside Camping, but the main flagship in the restaurant was a Big Disappointment. The campsite itself is fantastic! The pitches are well-organized, clean, and spacious—some sit right by the crystal-clear river, while others offer great shade under beautiful tree crowns on hot days. Swimming is incredibly fun with jumps and rope swings into the water. The pool is nice, facilities are spotless, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the restaurant is a mixed bag. Something has changed in recent years and you cannot have high expectations anymore. While the fish plate was better and the pastas were very nice, the meat dishes are a big letdown. We paid a lot for the flagship grilled meat plate for two and expected fresh quality. Instead, we got prefabricated frozen schnitzels and a basic frozen hamburger patty instead of real steak, that looked and tasted very flat. It felt like cheap fast food warmed up on a grill—definitely not worth the money or the effort, with zero "wow" factor. Verdict: Go for the amazing camping, clean facilities, and river fun. But be aware of the lower standard in the restaurant: stick to fish or pasta, and avoid the meat until they improve their quality!

We was alone in this camp with 4000 square metres and it was perfect. One of the best camp in Europe. They have a lot of activities there and the place is mirific.

Verwen camping, het eten is voortreffelijk, voor ieder wat te doen. Schoon en netjes en behulpzaam personeel. Je kunt heerlijk zwemmen in de beek, terug zwemmen lukt niet door de stroom, geen probleem overal is wel een trap om de beek uit te komen. Het zwembad is iets warmer, dus ook perfect!
