Looking for a lovely family-friendly campsite near the woods, with its own sandy beach next to a recreational lake? Silkeborg Sø Camping & Feriehuse, situated on the outskirts of Silkeborg (Central Jutland), is an excellent choice. Here, you will be camping right on the shores of Silkeborg Langsø, one of the lakes in the Danish Lake District. In this wooded and water-rich area, there are lovely walks and cycling and mountain bike trails to explore. A great destination for a long stay, and also a suitable campsite for campers passing through.

Friendly staff on peaceful site within 1.5 of town. Pleasant cycle/ walk into town along lake; there’s also a swimming jetty by the campsite. Crazy golf available for children. Facilities warm and clean. Some pitches sloping. Quite pricey though

I stayed in a tent with my boyfriend and even tho it cold in Denmark in March, I very much enjoyed my stay. The site is clean and the staff is super friendly. City is in a walkable distance, will come back

Vi overnattede 3 dage i telt med vores børn på pladsen, og havde et rigtig hyggeligt ophold. Vi spurgte efter en plads tæt på legeområdet, og det fik vi uden problemer. Pladsen er fin og ren med gode faciliteter. Dog var vi ikke så meget på pladsen i løbet af dagen, da der er en masse ting at lave omkring Silkeborg. Vi sejlede i kano, gik ind til byen flere gange, og sejlede med Hjejlebådende til Himmelbjerget. Vi fik pladsen anbefalet af nogle venner der havde besøgt den før os, og vi vil også anbefale den til andre børnefamilier.

Vi valgte Silkeborg Sø Camping & Feriehuse grundet den bynære beliggenhed ( lidt over 1 km til centrum ) og samtidig beliggende direkte til sø & skov. Vi nyder at cykle i naturen og der er virkelig mange ruter at vælge imellem. Turen rundt om Silkeborg Langsø er 7.4 km og det er muligt at medtage barne-/løbevogn. Pladsen er velorganiseret med frit pladsvalg når det er muligt, hvilket vi benyttede.
