Space and nature are the words best used describe the west coast of Himmerland, in the north of Denmark. Located by Denmark's largest fjord in the Myrhøj nature reserve, Myrhøj Camping's location truly could not be better. It is situated near the immense Limfjord as well as the beach and numerous beautiful cycling routes. The campsite fully accommodates the needs of children up to about twelve years of age, with a playground full of climbing equipment, a sports field, a cable car and even an indoor playground.

Neat lawns

What really stands out as you walk through this campsite is the amount of greenery. The grounds are well-organised and beautifully maintained. The pitches vary in size and their amount of green growth. From some pitches you'll wake to a view of the fjord - a truly remarkable experience. The wooden hiker's cabins provide accommodation for campers who do not have their own equipment.

The three sanitary buildings are all kept in very clean condition. There are also facilities to accommodate guests with physical disabilities.

Maximum fun

Spending the whole day at the campsite? The kids would probably love nothing more! Start the day with fresh rolls from the campsite shop. Sufficiently fueled up? Then they're sure to entertain themselves for hours in the colourful indoor and outdoor playground. Or they can check out the horses, rabbits and chickens. Fun activities, such as treasure hunting or crafts, are regularly scheduled.

Still want to venture outside of the campsite for a bit? There are plenty of beautiful bays around the Limfjord, also a short walk from the campsite. There you will see large rock formations. You can enter the water from the swimming jetty.

Travelling party: Seniors

Wij hebben er tijdens onze 4 weekse rondreis 1 nacht gestaan. Prachtige omgeving en wij onderschrijven de beschrijving van de inspecteur. Sanitair prima en vriendelijke service. Ook groepen kunnen er kamperen. Prijs voor Deense begrippen netjes.
